On the afternoon of November 19th, Police Officer Hu Wanqing, a first-level police chief of the Foreigners' Management Team of the Division of Exit-Entry Administration of Public Security Bureau of Shenyang, was invited by the International Students College and delivered a lecture on laws and regulations for all international students studying in Shenyang Urban Construction University in the 306 conference hall. All the teachers and students of the International Students College participated in this lecture. The meeting was chaired by teacher Wang Shanshan.

Firstly, Shao Xiujuan, Dean of International Students College， made a brief speech. She emphasized to the international students the necessity of abiding by laws and regulations in China, hoping that they would cherish the opportunities to study and live in China, and encourage them to have a deeper understanding of the real China and share their thoughts and experiences with more people.

Secondly, Officer Hu Wanqing introduced legal knowledge closely related to international students from eight aspects: "Study Visa and Residence Permit", "Accommodation Registration", "Passport Renewal", "Illegal Employment", "Avoiding Fraud", etc. At the same time, he focused on explaining the importance of daily attendance and the matters related to graduation based on practical cases. He particularly emphasized the importance of international students establishing legal awareness.

During the question-and-answer session after the lecture, the international students actively raised questions. Officer Hu Wanqing patiently answered the questions raised by the international students about the processing of internship visas, accommodation registration when traveling outside, and other common concerns.

This lecture enabled international students to fully understand the laws and regulations related to their study and daily life in China, further establishing their awareness of abiding by the law and personal safety, and enabling them to approach their studies and lives with a more positive attitude.
