Today, Mr. Naveed, head of Education Consortium UK based in Scotland, paid an exchange and inspection visit to our university to advance our international education initiatives and expand student recruitment from South and SouthEast Asia. Education Consortium UK is a professional educational consultancy based in Scotland. It engages in international education exchange, international student recruitment and crossborder schoolrunning linkage. Boasting abundant resources for educational cooperation in South and SouthEast Asia, it is committed to building a bridge for partnership between Chinese and foreign highereducation institutions.

Mr. Naveed toured our Engineering Training Center, the School of International Education and the Office of International Exchange. At the training center, he inspected training venues and facilities and spoke highly of our talenttraining model featuring industryeducation integration and the combination of theory and practice. At the internationaleducation departments, he learned about our work on international student administration, Chineselanguage teaching and foreignrelated service support, and recognized our internationalstudent training system and refined management services.
Following the site visit, both sides held a symposium. They exchanged views on the recruitment promotion for students from South and SouthEast Asia, the training of international students in China, and the joint development of Sinoforeign cooperative education programs. Discussions covered sourcemarket development, recruitment channels and student quality, as well as international student curricula, language training, academic administration and career guidance. Preliminary consensus was reached regarding Sinoforeign cooperative education models, resource sharing and joint talent cultivation, laying a solid foundation for future project implementation.

This visit marks an important opportunity for our university to explore the internationaleducation market of South and SouthEast Asia. Going forward, we will keep advancing international educational cooperation, improve administration for international students, explore diverse foreign-related school-running models, and elevate our overall level of internationalized education.
