The School Regulations about Attendance

From 4 November 2025, school will strictly carry out the following regulations to improve the attendance rate.

1. If you are late for class within 15 minutes for three times accumulated, you will be recorded "miss 2 class hours".

2. If you are late for class more than 15 minutes, you will be directly recorded "miss 2 class hours" for each time.

3. If ditch 1/3 class hours of this course’s, you cannot take the final examination.

4. For undergraduate, you shall be canceled of his student status if you miss lots of classes for more than 30 class hours.

5. For Chinese language students, you will be seen withdrawn from school if your attendance is lower than 50% by the middle or end of any semester.

The Immigration Regulations about Attendance

1. The immigration will only approve the visa extension for the overseas students who perform well and gain an attendance rate above 85% for each semester during the period of study in school.

2. The students who miss the classes for 2 consecutive days will be filed and given a warning punishment and reported to the immigration immediately.

The Consequences of Low Attendance

1. You will be disqualified from the final examination.

2. You shall be canceled of your student status or be seen withdrawn from school. Meanwhile there will be no other universities in China that enroll you.

3. Your visa extension will be refused.

4. Visa canceled, which is the most immediate impact, and you will be ordered to exit China within a time limit.

PS

1. Remind yourself all the time that your purpose of coming to Chins is to study, and your study attitude is best reflected in your attendance rate.

2. Any punishment you get from school or police during the period of study will be recorded and listed on your transcript. As long as you get the punishment, there will be no recommendation letter, transfer letter, course-completion certificate, or visa extension for you.

3. Application for Leave (Absent) should be made if student cannot attend class. Otherwise, he/she will be marked as absent from the classes.(1) One day for sick leave if not serious, more than two days(including two days )if serious must submit related certificates, such as medical certificate; (2) Students approved to leave are required to return before the due time. Any student who does not return to class on due date will be regarded as absence and punishment may be imposed accordingly.
