THE APPLYING PROCEDURE OF NEW STUDENTS

Eligibility


1. The applicants shall be non-Chinese citizen, and meet the requirements of JWH [2020] No. 12 Document of the Education Ministry of China.

2. The applicants shall be physically and mentally healthy and willing to abide by the laws and regulations of China and the regulations of SYUCU.

3. Applicants should be between 18 and 30 years old as of September 1st, 2023. Applicants who are under the age of 18 shall submit a guarantee letter from his/her guardians when applying.

4. Applicants should obtain senior high school diploma (or higher degree) and meet the academic requirements related to the applied major.


Application Procedures

1. Application Documents Submission to SYUCUadmissions@yeah.net

(1)Copy of passport information page, blank page and copy of the visa issued by Chinese embassies (if available)

(2)Diploma of high school education or proof of impending graduation (in Chinese or English)

(3)High school transcripts (in Chinese or English)

(4)Financial Certification

(5)Foreign students application form of SYUCU

(6)Physical examination report within 6 months

Note:Applicants are required to submit scanned copies of all required documents during application. All uploaded documents should be in Chinese or English; otherwise, notarized translations in Chinese or English are required. The original documents and notarized translations are to be submitted upon registration.

2. Pay application fee

Application fee of 800RMB / 111USD shall be paid within 7 days for online payment. (non-refundable)

3. Visa Application

Admitted applicants shall bring their passport, Admission Notice, Visa Application Form (JW202/201), Physical Examination Record Form as well as all physical examination reports including Blood Test Record to the local Chinese Embassy/Consulate or other official agencies authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China to apply for a student visa (X1/X2 visa).

Notice: If admitted applicants hold other types of visas rather than student visa (X1/X2 visa), they will not be registered at SYUCU.

4. Registration

When registering at SYUCU, the admitted students should provide their ordinary passport (diplomatic passport and service passport will not be accepted), Admission Notice, Visa Application Form (JW202/JW201) and student visa. Original or notarized diploma or transcripts of their previous study in English or Chinese should also be provided for review during the official registration. Otherwise, the admission will be considered invalid.
