On November 2nd, the 2020-2021 academic year scholarship award ceremony for overseas undergraduates was grandly held in Teaching Building 204 of the International Students College. Six teachers including Shao Xiujuan, Dean of the School of International Students and Zhang Ronghai, a student management teacher of the School of International Students, attended the award ceremony. A total of eight students including Pierre, Enoch, and Nissen received scholarships this year.

The award ceremony was presided over by the student assistant Lijing Sun. First, Yu Miao, a teacher of the Academic Affairs and Examination Management of the International Students College, gave a detailed explanation on the method of obtaining scholarships for foreign undergraduates in our school.

Next, Pierre, a representative of outstanding international students, gave an award speech on learning methods, learning attitudes, and feelings at school.

In the third part of the ceremony, we invited Jin Chong, the head teacher of the International Students College, to speak on the stage with warm applause. Mr. Jin put forward new requirements for the students from the perspective of daily learning and supervision. The students frequently nodded and affirmed Mr. Jin's teachings.

Afterwards, Zhang Ronghai, a student management teacher at the International Students College, gave an important speech on immigration management and student visas.

Following the ceremony, the most important one, as Ms. Miao announced the 2020-2021 academic year scholarship winners for international students, Shao Xiujuan, Dean of the School of International Students, presented the awards.

In the last item, all teachers and students took a group photo on stage, hoping that the award-winning students can cherish this honor and use it as a positive energy to inspire progress and continue to move forward.
